We collect the information you enter on our request form, information about how you use our site, and limited information from partners that helps us verify and match your request.

Information you provide. When you submit a request, we collect your name, date of birth, home address, email address, phone number, Social Security number or ITIN, requested loan amount and purpose, employment and income details, pay schedule, monthly housing cost, and bank account information such as routing and account numbers. If you contact us, we keep your message and our reply.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the date and time of visits. We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to collect this information.

Information from others. We may receive information from identity verification services, fraud prevention providers and lenders in our network, for example whether a lender responded to your request.

We use your information to process and match your request with lenders, to communicate with you, to prevent fraud, to improve our site and to meet legal obligations.

Specifically, we use information to share your request with lenders and partners that may be able to respond; verify your identity and detect fraudulent or duplicate requests; send you messages about your request and, where permitted, offers that may interest you; analyze how visitors use the site so we can improve it; and comply with laws, regulations and lawful requests from authorities.

When you submit a request, you authorize us to share the information you provided with lenders and partners in our network, who use it to evaluate your request and may contact you directly.

We may also share information with service providers that host our site, send messages, verify identity or prevent fraud, under contracts that limit their use of it; with a buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized; and with authorities when the law requires it or when needed to protect rights and safety. Lenders that receive your information handle it under their own privacy policies, which they provide to you, and under laws such as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), which requires financial institutions to explain their information-sharing practices and protect customer data.

We do not sell bank account numbers or Social Security numbers to marketers outside the purpose of evaluating your request.

Some information is exempt where it is covered by GLBA or needed to meet legal obligations. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may use an authorized agent where state law allows.

We protect your information with encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring, and we keep it only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as the law requires.

No system is perfectly secure, so we also ask you to protect yourself: we will never ask for your online banking password, and you should be wary of anyone who claims to represent us and requests an upfront payment. People researching earnest personal loans are sometimes targeted by imitators, so contact us through our official channels if a message looks suspicious.

Our site and services are intended only for adults who can legally enter into a loan agreement, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted information can contact us to request deletion.

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change, and the version posted on this page is the one in effect from the time it is posted.
